Great funn using watercolour paper to make an art journal - so excited made 2!!

Used gift paper (William Morris) on first book and used Upholstery thread self waxed witth beeswax - thread was a little thin.  The second book I used 4ply cotton yarn (crochet cotton) and waxed with beeswax which produced a better binding thread.

Looking forward to starting to paint in books tomorrow.  Have ordered some pretty handmade papers and book binding threads from Melbourne and then looking forward to more art journal making.  Nice way to present art work and will be a memento to family wehen I'm no longer around!!!!!🤪
