This project was quite a challenge! The paper I chose gave me a hard time and teared all around mushrooms when I removed masking fluid. It never happened before so I blame it on Hahnemühle Expression. I I've decided to carry on as I really liked the background. Fortunately the main subject are these beautiful toadstools so I could hide all the mess with the paper with white spots on the mushrooms. Secondly, I don't seem to have luck with the leaves print on paper. I've tried it before and it didn't work. I am probably doing something wrong. So I just sketched the stalks and did negative painting out of memory as leaves wilted by the time I got to paint them. Negative painting was the most tricky part for me :)
