Diana, this is such a delightful illustration.I absolutely love the story you’re telling here. The little chef creating complete chaos in the kitchen is just adorable, and it instantly made me smile. There’s so much personality in the scene.Since you asked for a little critique, I only have one small suggestion. In this particular mid-century style, I would try removing the outlines from shapes that already have a solid fill color. Usually, only colorless shapes really need an outline to define them. Letting the colored shapes stand on their own often gives the illustration an even more authentic mid-century feel.But honestly, that’s just a little stylistic tweak. The composition is wonderful, the idea is charming, and the whole piece works beautifully.Really lovely work, and thank you so much for sharing your project!Jutta &lt;3

Thank you, Jutta. Thank you for the critique. I see what you mean about the abundance of outline. That's an easy fix. Such a fun project. Spiral ears are now my favorites.

What fun this class was. I'm fresh from finishing, so I might return and refine. (I already see things to change and add.)
