I am still trying to watch the class and have not done class sketches. My plans to complete while away a bit derailed by real life!

Anyway i tried to sketch my favorite view Mt Scenery on Saba.  Way too complex. I took photo first but then tried sketching real life first time. Then back to photo and realize is way different.  I have no idea how one would accomplish all the variety of trees and whole mountain just with pencil.  My best try as I gave up.

After vacation will try sketches from class and to complete it. Happy New Year.
