This is the Class Project included in my Beginning Acrylics: Painting Lovely Hearts Decor Class.

This class is designed for the beginning painter, but is also a fun project to do for anyone who considers themselves a DIY aficionado and wants to paint a fun, decorative project to display in their home, to make for a festive event or give as a gift to someone they hold dear.

I'll demonstrate step by step each layer of my process in painting with acrylics and you can follow along and paint with me during each lesson, pausing as needed, or watch through and paint your class project later.

In the class I'll cover:

• Several techniques used in painting with acrylics
• How to use four different brushes 
• How to protect your artwork with a clear coat

and much more!

 

Once you complete the class lessons and finish your paintings, select your favorite and upload a photo of it to the Project Gallery. Or you're welcome to upload all your work, including process photos. It's up to you!

If you decide to paint other projects with the heart design, I'd love to see those as well. This design would look great as an ornament, gift topper, greeting card, sticker and a wedding keepsake, among other things.

 

 

 

If you use watercolor or acrylic paper, you can also create a journal/sketchbook from your lovely heart designs.

Here, I painted a large rock with the heart design to leave somewhere in my neighborhood. (That's something fun I like to do.)
