I enjoyed the exercises, but think I over-did things. All my ink pens have waterproof ink and I remembered the printer ink my sis gave me and it wasn't permanent, so I used that. What I didn't think of using is the gel roller ball pen I have. It has very black ink that isn't waterproof.

I do have a question. In my watercolor/acrylic painting, it's always a very light background to show distance, but in the photos some of the background is very dark. Should I have lightened them?
