I have always wanted to use handmade textures in my digital work. This class was a good start for that. I created this simple artwork using the techniques in the class. However, I have tweaked it a bit in the process here and there. 

First, I sketched the character.

Then I blocked in the colors I wanted to use in Procreate. After that I made the marks and textures in my sketchbook using crayons, markers, pencils etc. 

Then I assembled them in Procreate. I used a texture provided in the class as a background texture. Thanks a lot for teaching the class, Stephanie!
