Ronan, this is amazing! i love how the shadows progress on the left side: from dark to light. You also did a superb job of suggesting texture on the castle without overcomplicating it. What a cool scene; I'm curious about this castle's inhabitants!

Thanks Sam! This class really helped with the texture side but I could always use more practice

I think I managed to get the desired effect on the castle with the bricks but I need to improve with the rocks.&nbsp; 
I&rsquo;ve been using some ink washes along with my lines for a bit more depth
