 What is your Mission?

A mission is a short 1-2 sentence “this is why we exist” statement that is easy to understand. For instance:

• To provide longarm quilting service for people who make quilt tops .

What is your Vision?

A vision is a 1-2 sentence “this is how the world should look” statement that is easy to understand. For instance:

• to provide quality service and develop repeat business

What is your Value?

When someone gives you $1, what happens? This is your vision (how you see the world) plus your mission (this is why we exist) applied in action - and it’s traditionally called the “Value Proposition” but for this document focus on ACTION and CAUSE/EFFECT. For instance:

When someone gives me a dollar for my services I want to them to be pleased with the quilting job I have done for them, so they share it with friends and family, resulting in more work for me.

Who is your business for?

• Rough demographics: remotely all over the US
• Needs: anyone who makes quilt tops but can’t or don’t know how to finish the quilt or don’t want to finish the quilt
