Lessons learned: 1. go BIG, these notepads and stitching is toooo hard ;-) 2. Getting a multi-patterned fabric on a book is quite the feat! It's kinda like "measure 342 times, cut once", 3. Do NOT use waxed thread and use THIN thread, ayiyiyi!  Great class, I am so glad I did it. My horse loving mom will really enjoy this notepad!
