Here are my five ideas in response to the word "gum". 

 

- Creative non-fiction: a personal essay detailing the first time I tried bubble gum. This idea could go into themes such as childhood, innocence and the curiosity to find out new things in life. I find that it would be fun to describe in detail how I remember the flavour, the experience and the thoughts which ran through my head as I tasted it for the first time. 

 

- Animation: a short animatic featuring a cyberpunk themed guy. I imagine him having green hair, shaved at the side. He is chewing bubble gum and as the gum pops, the world around him explodes into a brautiful galaxy. 

 

- Photography: a collage of close-ups of different types of gum. 

If I had to pick one, I'd go with the first idea, because I do not dabble in animation nor in photography.
