Creative Image-Making: Layered Color Effect Using Channels in Adobe Photoshop

The update looks cool, I like that now there are two fishes like that, makes the composition more dynamic. In terms of losing bits, that's always true with channels, the only way to get around it is to have a larger canvas to start with, with empty space around your image, and cropping the image to the desired size after all of the channels manipulation. The circles coming from the eye look really cool as expected, hypnotising fish:) That's the point with this kind of experiments, you need to look for little things like that which can make a great difference to the design in terms of communication. 

Typographic solution is much better now, but still a bit out of place, because your overall image is quite techy, but the type is rather elegant, so I think that due to the nature of this design it could be more suitable to use some simple sans-serif or hand-written in sans-serif style capital letters possibly in a kind of a messenger speech bubble, something more funky and friendly. This project pleases me as it is now and I'll not touch it more. I'm too afraid to destroy it completely.
But, be sure, that I'll make a new project with all your advices in mind, particularly a large empty space all around.
I planned to work on  your typo class as typo is something that I'm found of :-)

Hey Caroll, nice to see your work again:) Good job, colours work very well and I like the way concentric circles work together with the fish illustration! I am not so sure about the typeface choice and generally how it distracts attention from the fish, maybe you could try to make it lighter, or just about legible by making it white? Also it could be cool to align the fish on the page in a different way to have the eye in the centre of the page to be able to have concentric halftone pattern going from the eye, and after applying the Halftone Pattern filter crop the image in a way you want the overall composition to be. I work on your suggestions this afternoon and here is what I ended with
