Layered Watercolour Earrings

I have two sets of earrings, both used Arches 300gsm watercolour paper (2 layers for each piece and part of piece), a mix of yellow ochre and brown madder, DecoArt Triple Thick Glaze, some beads from my stash, and some dies and my Big Shot die cut machine.

"Cats at the window" features to grey cats watching a sunset through the window. I used copic markers for the grey cat and brown window frame. Having to make sure everything was glazed individually made this a bit fussy. Six layers of paper all told.

"Bright folk flower" was pretty straightforward, but getting the colours right was harder than I anticipated.

I used jump ring rather than glue in the wire because I could never get it to stay. My wire might be a bit thick for this project. I had a lot of fun making these and am finally able to submit my project.Layered Watercolour Earrings - image 1 - student projectLayered Watercolour Earrings - image 2 - student project
