My project is to make a collection for four books each contraining several short stories that center around the strange happenings in a coastal town known as Landon's Crest. Not much is known about the town by those living in neighboring cities. Each of the four books will be it is own microcosm focusing on a particular family within Landon's Crest. Some stories will tie into other ones within the other books.

Landon's Crest appears to be a small sleepy insular town, but there is an underlying uneasiness about the place. 

"Welcome to Landon's Crest-Relax- everything is as it should be!" is the first thing anyone arriving to the town sees.

It spans over several decades with the timeline starting from the founding of the town by the Landons all the way to the start of this more fictionalize and stylized 1980's

It will have a lot of familiar societal recognized norms, while being respectful of the impact that some of these tropes place on the characters and their lives.

It will showcase different genre's across the short stories in each of the microcosm, and by the end weave into the overarching mystery centered around the mysterious founders of the town.
