Used sheer fabric.  This is so lovely and delicate.  Want to do more!

 

 

HONEYCOMB SMOCKING

Used linen fabric and embroidery thread.  The class template scale is quite large.  I would like to do a smaller scale that would look good on a top.

 

 

LOZENGE SMOCKING 

Used satin semi sheer fabric.  Should have ironed it before starting.

 

 

OK - this technique from another class by Dominika.  Just wanted you to see how cool the SANDWICH LAYERING looks!  This is just two colors.  She uses 3 colors in the class and it looks amazing!
