3 formas de hacer un GIF: conceptos básicos de Adobe Photoshop

Hi Kate, thank you SO much for your lovely feedback, that has really made my day :) I love your class project cover image (great color palette!) but I can't see your GIFs - did you upload them? In the main body of the class project you can just hit the 'image' button and .gif files work here (but they won't work for the class cover image). Let me know if that doesn't make sense. Would LOVE to see what you've been creating!

Thanks for the nudge Mel, I'm a bit tech challenged and it takes a while for me to figure things out, but hopefully all uploaded now!
I also took your advice about changing the Gifs into MP4 files so I could post to Instagram, I tried it with the image changing gif which seemed to work but when I emailed it to myself so I could access it with my phone the file was really large so I can only access it on my phone through Google drive which doesn't seem to let me save it to Instagram... very frustrating as I'm desperate to share my achievement!! If you have any advice on that one I'd be all ears.
Like I said before your teaching is great and very inspiring I think I've seen all your classes and although I've used Photoshop for some years, to design with, I've learnt loads. I liked the idea of learning to make gifs as I'm in the process of filming my second skillshare class and think they'd be great to use for titles during my class.

Quick update... I've actually worked out why I couldn't upload to Instagram, I was making the animation repeat far too long- all sorted now and hopefully you'll see I've tagged you on Instagram with the gifs... takes a while but I get there in the end! x

Kate thanks so much for persevering so we can see your fabulous GIFs! Glad you figured out the issue with the MP4 - yes currently Instagram will only accept up to 60 seconds of video (or 15 for an IG Story) - thanks for tagging me there - I'll take a look! I really love your color choices in all 3 GIF styles - I can see from your beautiful illustration work you have a great eye for color which has translated so beautifully into your GIF designs. I have to say I love all 3 of them equally, they really do each have their own unique charm! Thank you for your kind words about my classes, I really appreciate that, it means a lot - especially to hear someone who already has a lot of Photoshop experience is learning from them too :) Good luck with the new Skillshare class! Yes these techniques do work really well for class titles - every title graphic in the class was created using the same process, you just need to adapt the size to 1920 x 1080 pixels. You can also work with a transparent background if you want to see the video underneath, then you can just import them into whatever video editing software you are using and they behave like image files - so you do need to repeat them as they don't loop (so just play the frames once) but it's fairly simple and can be a lovely way to personalise your video titles.
