Jurrien, thank you so much for sharing this 😊 I really appreciate how honestly you described the experience.That urge to correct and erase is something almost everyone feels, and the fact that you noticed it instead of fighting it is already a big step. That awareness is exactly what this exercise is about. You did it in the spirit it was intended.I also love how you described the class as a brief meditation. That genuinely makes me happy to hear. Drawing does not always have to be about improving or fixing. Sometimes it is simply about slowing down, observing, and letting something exist as it is. Your drawing captures that mindset beautifully.Thank you for trusting the process and for taking the time to reflect on it. It means a lot to me as a teacher to see learners engaging this thoughtfully. Please keep going, imperfections and all. That is where the real learning quietly happens.

Really difficult to stop the urge to correct and use an eraser... nice short class Paul, thank you!  like a brief meditation
