I refuse to believe this is your first attempt at hand lettering!! That's insane, because this is just so gorgeous and already has so much style. I can't imagine where you'll be on drawing #100 if this is #1! I would suggest trying to connect your letters a bit more in this piece to align with the script style, like the 'o' to the 'w' in growing, for example. And make sure that the swashes you're incorporating aren't hurting your legibility (the swash off the 'w' might be worth revisiting so the 'i' has more breathing space!) Reaaaally lovely work, Kayla!!
