Picasso was very much into the 'one line' flow.What we want to be when we draw is as an observer. As they say enjoy the ride when you are riding. Judging our drawing should be based on two things. 1- Will we draw again? 2- Will we see improvement? #1 tells us about our motive.Why do we draw, #2 Depends on attitude and realistic expectations. The most important step in drawing is the 'next step'. Let me know when you take it and show me what you did.

I will absolutely draw or paint again, any time my body let's me use my hands. Art saved my life and continues to. Some days when I need something but physically can't, I'll literally just swipe some paint on a canvas with a finger, its nothing, but it's enough for that moment :)

As for the second?.... I always hope I'll see improvement... I tend to think anything I do is awful.... so, I try to just enjoy doing anything I can when I can. I only do it for me.

These were just quick first tries over the picture provided in the class. I have tons to learn... especially what to keep or not in this type. But I look forward to trying more.... maybe even go over some of my own drawings and paintings (just a copy of it of course) but to try different flowers I've done or my charcoal dark feeling self portrait I did using charcoal the first time... it, and it's sister portrait, are the only thing pieces that I had names for as they were feelings that I've had my whole life... seeing it on paper... now, its not "good", it was only my 2nd time using charcoal and so, its nothing great technically... but... to me... it means everything to that pain on paper.
So, I will absolutely keeping trying and learning. 

Thank you for the advice!! I have other things I've thought of putting up, but, I don't normally share my work with anyone but family, and the caliber of artists here is amazing, so it would look ridiculous. And I'm not sure if I can if its not attached to one specific class.
I'm sad because I don't have long before my free trial is over and I cannot afford to stay... so I binge as much as possible speaking out loads of notes :)

I also can't find where to leave reviews easily for the many classes I've watched. I can't from my app at all. So, ill try through my browser like I am now... because in my app, I didn't even show having a comment... so sorry :(

Thank you! It seems skillshare changed, or at least what they told me... I had a free class, so tried to watch it, but, to sign in I had to have an account with a credit card as they don't have fully free accounts now. Only if they give you a free trial, which they were really nice to give me a couple months and he started an account so I could skip that part, but he said as soon as my trial was done my account would just go away :( 
I watched your 4hour class yesterday, I apologize, my RA brain fog, plus some extended family drama, has me very forgetful so I can't think of the exact title... but it's an amazing class. I plan to go back through it section by section, trying to do the work, or some, while watching it. Your work and teaching style are lovely... as are your reminders to ... well, of course I'll be able to leave comments and reviews over on that class thank you for your encouragement and thoughts, family is always super sweet about my art and asking me to make them more sets of cards, and of course I appreciate the love &amp; kindness SO much... but.. it's hard because, regardless of what they say, I feel they just want to be nice because they know how much art means to me. So, I appreciate feedback from actual artists that can give me specific things I need to work on and how.

I love this class :) I love this type of art &amp; I've wanted to learn, but SO many people "teach" this, but don't give any real direction or real life ideas, they just draw it as if it's the easiest thing ever. And I'm sure it is for most, not me.
I'm handicapped and only have moments when I can use my limbs, and just did this in the car on my android phone quickly...so its bad, but I look forward to trying more!
