Ink on everything! Coffee flowers & berry studies

Another great Ohn Mar Win class! Ever since I've joined Skillshare six years ago, I've watched her classes with great joy and enthusiasm. This class is no exception!
A few notes on project number 1:
Did you know that Kodiak bears mostly eat berries? I love finding trivia like that on packaging, such as on this graham cookie box. So I went and painted one such berry that they like, namely the dogwood berry.
I didn't have brown ink on hand so I mixed my own using purple Liquitex ink and a lovely foxbrown fountain pen ink that I got from a friend.
Project number 2:
As coffee picking season will start soon here at our little Hawaiian coffee farm, coffee trees, flowers and cherries have been very much on my mind lately.
I love painting and lettering on everything, from trays to pots, so decided to whip out some old pots and give them a makeover with a painting of some coffee tree flowers and leaves.
Again, I didn't have brown ink, so mixed Liquitex metallic copper with Dr Higgins black ink.
Btw, the leaves that you see here are actual coffee tree leaves.
Let's see how well the ink holds up once I start growing plants in those pots again :-)
Thank you for taking the time to look at my project and enjoy creating, always!
Aloha,
Keiko
