<p>Hi Laura, this looks great! I especially like how you included your name and website url in the background image—that's a clever way to use that space! I'd say even if you don't have a professional headshot, it's a good idea to include a photo of yourself because it makes it much easier for people to relate to you and creates a personal connection. As long as you have a photo that has good lighting and you like how you look in it, I'd recommend updating. And you can always swap it out once you get the professional headshot taken. But of course it's up to you!</p>

I used the above image that I created in LinkedIn with some examples of my covers to create a banner showcasing some of my work to catch authors' eyes. I don't have a professional headshot yet but I'm going to get one.
