I peel good? ;)

When this class was published I thought: "OMG! More oranges? Will Ulrike ever get tired of it?" :)

So, I was a bit hesitant, but since I know that I learn so many (new) techniques and insights, I was immediately smitten by this new class. As always, your class is easy to understand and to follow.

I know that we all just copy your image and do not come up with new ideas in this class ourselves, but this will be my next (personal) challenge - to come up with my own idea and try to apply those newly learned skills.

Part 2 - applies those skills to a different project:

Things I struggled with/could need your advice:
- placement of the blurred drop shadow (30% opacity)
=> here I placed it only in the upper cloud and left the lower one quite blank ... and I was wondering what you would recommend?

- I added the orange stripes without using the drawing guide/drawing assist and I know that this might look a but sloppy (but I kind of dig that here ;))

- I really had fun adding that transparent part of the cloud, so that we can get the illusion that the pea really sits IN the cloud ...

Part 3 - revised

Thank you for your feedback!
- I revised the sun rays and also
- removed the dotted shadow on the upper cloud, so that there is parity with just the blurred shadow underneath each cloud.
- Lastly I added more blurred clouds to the lower body of the pea.
Thank you!

Part 4 - used the eraser tool for sharp edges on shadows and face
