Hi Shannon, no rush, you can do a single project/painting each time as there's tons of different scenes in my classes :)

Thanks for that suggestion Darren. That is a really good idea for me to not have such grandiose expectations for myself. That's what always gets me in trouble. I loved the Japanese Flower and Plant Shoppe. I've wanted to go to Japan for decades, and also the Nordic countries. I love world travel and it's nice that you choose these other countries for themes for your art for us. :-)This looks hard, but I know you'll make it manageable for me. :-D

Totally, I think the hardest part is just starting and not having too many expectations, other than seeing the painting through to the end :) I love travel too.. think it's totally worth it to save up and go somewhere different every few years. 

That's an intriguing and great idea to start a new painting with - just start with no expectations except seeing it through to the end. I've just noted that in my new art journal. :-) Yes on that travel plan, too!

Bold use of color on all of your designs! I like the red and yellow houses the best because I’m partly Swedish and Danish.

This is the watercolour technique I'd love to master.  Thanks for liking my PatternDraw projects Darren, otherwise I might not've found your class.   I've diarised it for 31/01/2026 in an effort to achieve at least one good-feeling goal for the year :)  Cheers and all the best for 2026.
