Dear Claudia, I just finished this wonderful class! I originally came here to understand how to reinterpret a painting through different iterations, hoping it would help me shape my final project for your other class “Find Your Illustration Style: A 30-Day Creative Challenge to Build Taste &amp; Consistency.” But it was impossible not to complete this one too! It is so inspiring to watch you paint!!! Soo pretty! Soo beautiful and enchanting! It was such a positive and freeing experience, yay! I’m honestly so proud of my little painting too. I had so much fun letting go of perfection and simply enjoying the process, hands in the air, and finally placing this small piece on my wall. I’ll head back to the other class now to sit with what I’d like to create for the final project. So far, I followed your lovely suggestion to make a quick version first, and it was incredibly helpful. It kept me from overthinking and allowed me to visually reflect on the elements of the manifesto as a starting point for the final painting. Please feel free to comment or advise anything you'd like to share and how i can still improve--like, my brush work is not so neat for example. I wanted to make sunflowers but they ended up looking like buttercups (which is fine too!)I realize that perhaps it has to do with the size of the brush and the consistency of the gouache paint which im still familiarizing with. Thank you for teaching us such thoughtful systems for growing in our art practice, and most of all, for being such an excellent teacher! I really want to learn more with you. THANK YOU very much for your presence and for your beautiful classes!
