Really enjoyed this class! Learned a lot and took three pages of notes. Very excited to use the blend and repeat tools, in particular.

 

I started by looking at some visual inspiration and color palettes. I dropped those around my art board and then got started. Initially I made a different art board for each technique, but my designs felt weak on their own. Once i combined and refined, I liked the direction more.

 

The four tools/techniques I ended up incorporating were: custom brush, repeat tool, opacity mask, blend tool.
