I am always puzzled by how little water students use when doing a watercolour.

Water is the KEY to a successful watercolor. Aside from a few other key imperatives such as: leaving white paper, adding juicy darks, balanced midtowns, contrast, design ..... Water and how much and where is the FUNDAMENTAL INGREDIENT for your success.
