My rough design looks almost nothing like the finished piece, but I was pleased with the process.

I had a happy accident early on which sent me in a different direction. My design is more like a couple of mirror images than a symmetrical design.

I managed to be reasonably accurate with the positioning of the various elements. However, I thought it would be fun to add a couple of effects to the design to mask any slight errors. And for variety!

I later went back and added a lot of colour. I'm hoping to get the full neon effect at some point.
