Probably shouldn’t have started with this bird since it appeared on black, so I wasn’t sure if I should have laid it all out on black then cut it up again. Also, my idea was to put a branch going under the bird so it could perch. Any idea where I might find perching talons? Decided to send it as is. Other two birds will not be such a challenge. This one had a mask too, so I decided to wing it. My lines to delineate the tail feathers then turned into a mess. But I do like the compliment of green with bright red spots on the belly… so, there’s that….

Great class! If you can help on the talon issue? One bird actually does have feet, but they are tiny, and not sure if they are in the pattern.
