I used the same round brush (DaVinci spin-synthetic series 488) in a size 2 (looks like a size 10 to me) and 300gsm paper for all of the gradients in this class. 

Ombre Gradient

I enjoyed creating this and didn't have too much trouble with the technique.

Simple 2-Colour Gradient


This looked OK when wet but a harsh line was created as it dried, I;m not sure what I did to cause this. I still think it is pretty but not as smooth as I;d hoped it would be.

Complex 2-Colour Gradient


I found this getting a bit streaky as I was trying to create it. Some unusual effects were also created when my cat stood on it as it was drying!

Sunset Gradient


I was pretty pleased with how this turned out, the yellow fade is much more subtle in real life than it is in the photo.

Overall, I am happy with what I created, though things didn't always go to plan. This class was a really fun way to practice different gradients.
