Forever Flowers

Forever Flowers - student project

This is the project for the class in my BEGINNING ACRYLIC SERIES called, Florals with a Painterly Approach.

I call this "Forever Flowers" because once you paint these, unlike a real bouquet, they'll last forever and no watering, fertilizing, trimming -- etc.

(You may want to frame them, though.)

This is a sample I painted for a bridal gift.

Consider painting these on one wall of a bathroom, a on the drawer fronts of a dresser, or on the lid of a picnic basket. The possibilities are endless!

I've painted these on mini canvasses, round canvasses, Christmas ornaments and even on jeans to give them new life!

I hope you have as much fun painting them as I do!

Here's the link if you'd like to take the class: BEGINNING ACRYLICS: Florals with a Painterly Approach.

And if you decide to make this project or any other project with these painterly florals, upload it so I can see how you did!

Happy painting!

Brigitte

BONUS! I added a two-part, time-lapse video at the end of the class of another painting project using this painterly method for florals on a round canvas.

I hope you enjoy it!

Here's another example of a round wreath featuring yellow roses, daisies and forget-me-nots with a lavender reverse background.

 The ideas really are endless!
