Focal point with plants

These are my plants. I had the furnitue as well as the pots and plants when I moved into this apartment, so it isn´t intentional. I have tried to make it seem intentional by mixing decor pieces with plants. When I only use plants and pots and nothing really goes together I feel it looks messy. The decor pieces also add texture.
I have attempted to make it look cohesive in three ways. The first way is by distributing the different colors and textures of the leaves and pots evenly. The second way is by using the colors black, lightgray and gray for as much of the decor and pots as possible. The two big terracota pots do not match the rest. I´ve placed them on either side of the console in an attempt to create some sense of order through symmtery. The third way of creating cohesion is to use symmetry and assymetry on the consol. I have placed three things on both sides of the mirror, but the things are different in shape and size.
For accent lighting I use a concrete lamp and electrical tealights placed behind the pots.
There are limitations to how I can place the plants. Some of the plants require humidiy which I have created by using bowls with evaporating water. I don´t want to get water on the wooden console, so these plants have to be placed on the plant stands. In the back corner I am planning to get a plant with a stem and a crown that goes up to the cieling.
