I finally got round to finishing my kingfisher. It has been sitting on my big pile of unfinished work for ages!! Thank you for such a wonderful class Nadine, I really enjoyed it and, as always, learnt so much about watercolour.

I found the wing a challenge and a great learning curve. Such a great technique for wing feathers, thank you. I think the practice one I did on a spare scrap of paper was better, but hey ho, it's always the way!! 😃

Do you think the join between the wing and body is too obvious, could I soften it a little? I think the size of my beak got a little out of control as well!! 🤣
