Your project made me happy too!  Your rose is lovely and for a super beginner......fantastic!  If you completed this project in a spare half hour, I suggest you stick with watercolor and learn all you can.  Just super work.  I have not been with watercolor very long but I have a little tip that helps me. If I may....whenever I take a class where the instructor teaches drills at the beginning I put a sample and brief description in a drill book I started.  I always have something to do when I pick up a brush and I find practicing mixing colors while doing drills is a great learning tool.  Plus I have definitely see improvement in my work.  I have fallen in love with watercolor.  I hope you will continue on your watercolor journey as well.

Oh Terri, your words are so encouraging! I must say these flowers look so nice because Jessica does a terrific job as a teacher and I was able to follow really well every step of the project. I really would like to learn a lot and practice practice practice until I don't have to paint following clases and can create pieces from my mind and with my own style. For the moment I am really much enjoying taking classes here at Skillshare every moment I can and follow the doable projects. Thanks for your tip, I have been thinking how to gather notes from the classes I take and this method could be it!! What type of book have you gotten for your drill book? I am struggling with that since normal book/sketchbooks don't handle water very well, and dedicated watercolour bundled books are so expensive... again thanks for passing by and taking the time to comment &lt;3

Hi Eva,  I love your card.  I like how you lightened up the color scheme.  Very cheerful.  I am sure your mom will love it especially since it was lovingly made with your own two hands.  As for your earlier question I do have a small watercolor moleskine sketchbook but I don't really use for my drills.  I just use regular sheets of watercolor paper which I  photo copy with pre-drawn boxes.  Then once they dry I keep the sheets in plastic sheet protectors in a drills binder I started.  I  will upload a few sample sheets here.  I  don't think Jessica will mind.

Here it is my attempt to this class in an spare half hour I had today. I am a super beginner so if you like this I am sure you can make it too! :D This project made me so happy! Love and colours! &lt;3

I finally had a little bit more time and attempted this flowers again to make a card for my mum for Mother's Day. I hope she likes it!
