Hi Annie, this project was such a pleasure to work on! I had so much fun combining watercolours and coloured pencils and realizing just how complementary they are.

While I've worked with watercolour for awhile, I almost always ink my paintings with black Microns or brush pens, but now I'm hooked on the soft, whimsical effect of the pencil crayon lines.

I tried to follow your tutorial closely, though I did add some texture on the carrots using orange pencil crayon, since you already set a precedent for creating patterns.
