Unless my eyes are crooked, your lines look pretty straight to me Catherine lol…..You did a beautiful painting. I love the way the detail fades out so our eyes focus on the dome :)

Thanks Diana, I guess those two round blobs bother me ,but this was fairly quick and fun. I started the rhododendron that you’ve inspired me to try.

Took me a minute to spot the ‘blobs’ you are talking about….They don’t stand out at all..Can’t wait to see your rhoddie.  Chris’s classes are always amazing and filled with so much information!  Make sure to check out all of his resources. He has a great step by step break down that can be quite helpful.

Catherine this is charming. My mother in law as a watercolor artist an painted many Italian cities. Florence was a favorite. The colors and shapes of the buildings,  towers, including the duomo tell us exactly where we are in th words and the expressive nonsense iss fun.

Straight lines are a problem for me, but I always enjoy Nadine’s instructions for quick loose projects.. with the inevitable “ nonsense.”
