In my course "Blooms and Blends: Floral Art with Acrylic Paint and Image Transfer" I am once again exploring the combination of digital image and analog artwork. Bringing realistic photos onto abstract backgrounds has a special appeal for me.

I started with vintage paper backgrounds, but then tried a version that reminded me more of a spray-painted mural on a concrete background.
