Great work Jennie!! I love this, I think you have done a fantastic job. You may find that some of the more in-between mouth shapes in the Sleuth's first line of dialogue aren't necessary and pulling a couple out might make it flow EVEN better... but honestly that is the only improvement I can think of and that is probably more a personal taste thing that an actual technical thing, so really well done - I love it :) Are you going to bring this to life on real puppets too?

I hope to make something and enter it into this months 11 second club competition but haven't settled on a stile yet. I went cheep on clay and what I have - not so good. Get what you pay for I guess. 

I would have totally used your posted mouth shapes but didn't see them until I had already worked it out. Next project will totally use them to plan out the dialog. 

Now that the dialog is on my bigger screen I can see the extra shapes I don't need.

Awesome, I still need to try that one month too. I am currently working on a different competition, so maybe I will do 11 secs for October. I hope you are able to get some better clay. Newplast is so good if you can get that in the US. A multi-coloured bar means you have options too. Or oven-cook, sculpey and fimo are both great. Ah yeah, don't worry about not using my mouths shapes, it was just so there was another option :) Awesome, yeah it is all learning, then more you do the quicker you will get too. When you get lip sync right it is so satisfying. You did a super job though, I thought yours was really well done!! :)
