First ever binding project

Thank you thank you thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. I had watch this tutorial already twice and had been on my mind to make my own watercolour journal and had been waiting for some reason (plan to get that watercolour roll/ pads, the cover material, the wax thread, the hold punching tool etc etc and you know like some day I would)... but then I was like I wanna do this binding as soon as possible and then I decided to do it with whatever I had and just went ahead with a old watercolour student book cover and a small nail to pierce and make hole as the pages were 100 gsm and the cover was just regular hard cover...  and I am so glad I did it...

I had the tear in one section from one hole to other (and thankfully I had gone through the discussion section of the class and knew this may happen so dint really panic just used a tape to stick on outside n inside page of the section and continued)

I dint really get it right to put the last section... might just understand better before attempting the next project

but I am so glad I did it... here is my first ever binded small booklet

I realised there is slight tear around 1 hole.. but guess will let it be

and yes the design cane different as by mistake I did the second hole in covers before rather than after... hehe... but guess thats a happy accident.. I discovered another design!
