Amazing work, Emidio! I loved seeing your color swatches. It's so important to know which colors we'll be using before jumping in, especially if we're going to be blending and creating gradients. Your color choices are fantastic. I can tell that you thought about developing an ample tonal/value range needed for realism and believable depth. Thanks so much for sharing these, along with your final results! I really like how your painting turned out. I can see you pinpointed highlights, midtones and darks in your reference as you were working to develop those in your piece accordingly. The shadows in the fabric are also really well done and communicate the folds and overlapping very well. I like the texture the Ultramarine created in the background, as it is subtle. Ultramarine is a granulating paint color, so it usually will result in a bit of texture. It's a nice texture, though! Lots of artists love Ultramarine because of this color's granulating characteristics. There isn't a "streakiness" or "splotchiness" to your background, which oftentimes happens when painting large areas like this. I also like that the background isn't a "flat" value, but has lighter areas and darker areas, because this adds to the realism of the piece. First class in watercolor pencil. I had some cheap pencils and decided to try them out.  The watercolor I used for the background was Ultramarine it turned out Grainy
