I've been interested in film scores since I was in high school. I'd often day dream about what kind of music would be playing if my life were a movie. One of my favorite film scores is from Manchester by the Sea. I just think Lesley Barber did an amazing job conveying emotion through music. I don't know if I'll compose my own music, but these classes definitely prepared me if I do. For now, I'm just going through sheet music of my favorite songs and arrangements and use what I've learned from this class to appreciate how these songs were constructed. Maybe I'll get inspired.
