Hi Patti!! So happy to see your work. i love this painting!! The desert sand is really well rendered and the different tones and gradients throughout he dunes is beautifully done! I really love how this composition is pared back and not overly worked, which adds to the scene and the feeling of space and desert landscape. If you had put rocky outcrops in the foreground or tried to fill in the space in some way, we would have really lost that feeling or sense of open space. Yet you've still managed to create depth and scale. Well done! Awesome work :)
