To be perfectly honest, I have failed at a lot of things in life. I will share three of those things because altogether there is waaaaaay too many to share.

- Failure #1

I submitted a poem called "The Robin" to an Irish poetry magazine. It got rejected.

 

What did I learn? I learned that I need to check out the poetry magazine's published poems to get a feel for their vibe and/or what kind of poems they are looking for.

- Failure #2

I wrote an article about journaling ideas and put it up for sale at the website I "work" for. Nobody wanted to buy it. I proceeded to ask my English professor friend to look it over and it turned out that I had made quite a few English mistakes. I now use Grammarly to help me with the articles I put up for sale.

- Failure #3

I signed up to the gym to lose weight but ended up not going and gaining more weight. I found out that I suffer from an eating disorder and now I am working with a physiotherapist and a dietitian to lose weight.
