Maximilliane this is just beautiful , the softness of your washes in the grass and background blend wonderfully and that little puffin just pops out in bright detail

What a gorgeous result! It is great to see how effective that limited palette is here, the colours feel harmonious and fresh, with a lovely sense of atmosphere in the background. A great example of how dark it’s possible to mix colours without using black! The puffin stands out so clearly against those soft washes, and the textures and splashes add a really natural, lively feeling. Your drawing underneath shows a strong foundation, and it is nice to see how confidently you built on that with paint. Thank you for sharing your palette, it is always inspiring to see how much can be achieved with just a few colours! 😊

I used a limited colour palette, only including ultramarine blue, phthalo blue, burnt sienna, alizarin crimson, cadmium red light and cadmium yellow.
