Here's another of the projects I did with your inspiring classes, Ania! Somehow your classes are very inspiring to me, I love the experimentation and play. And mixed media is fun!

These are my experiments for this class.

 

And then I painted some birds with you

I based all my birds on more realistic sketches that I did first, and I like this balance between observational sketching and then letting go of realism and using my fantasy.

I also made a drawing of a collared dove, I had been wondering how to paint it and then something just 'clicked' and a collared dove appeared :)

Oh... and last week I made drawings of storks. They nest in my neighborhood and I see them soaring through the sky.
