One of my go to meals - Beef Brisket Noodle soup, and yes to all kinds of Ramen too! I thought I lost all creativity when just the other day I decided to bring my old dusty sketchbook and some markers (so i won't think, erase, think too much)... i drew in a relaxed but lose way, before having my lunch... i didn't know what else to make it more interesting... i was afraid that I might mess it up if i add watercolors or other media... but i sense that it still lacks something...

 

Then today, WhaaaAAAaaattt? a NEW class by FAB! YAY!!!...

I have not done much drawing or painting this whole year (sorry Fab, I regret to have been missing out on your new classes)... Life happens (I had to transfer to a new place, among other things)... I started sketching a bit here and there - difficult to find time (i know, i know, not an excuse) - and finally made the sketch above with the intention to draw daily anything from life...

And so when I saw your new class in my inbox just minutes ago, I was so delighted! and how timely! 

I can't wait to get started and go through the process... learn... practice!

OK... here is a first attempt... wonky, but it was FUN!

 

I wish there was more lunches and a variety of them! ;D ;D ;D But now I can catch up with your other classes while I continue to Draw/Paint lunch!

I find that meat and other cooked food in a bowl is hard to decipher because they are all organic shapes and most of the time similar colors like the browns and reds, I'm still trying to figure out a way to make them distinct yet combined together well on the page...
