Dried apples and an oat cookie

Here is my afternoon snack: dried apples from my garden and an oat cookie in a porcelain bowl. The texture of the apples and the cookie proved to be a bit tricky, but I decided to be content at this point.

The above image has not gone through iColorama, because I didn’t want to get the pro version of it and I couldn’t save images anymore.

Instead I found a way to achieve something a little similar in Procreate:

1. I duplicated the finished image on a new layer,

2. moved it a few pixels down and right (see the signature stamp),

3. inverted it,

4. turned the layer blending mode to color burn,

5. set the opacity to 50 %

6. and finally adjusted the gamma to make the image  brighter.

The efect is not as strong as the one  is I would have got from iColorama. Below is the image saved as a screen shot with the iColorama watermark above it.

Here are also some other images I made for practice.

Thank you, Jai, again! This was very educating and fun!
