Drawing Exercises To Bust Creator's Block
Exercise 1: Mindful Drawing

Mindful drawing is a practice which is so incredibly simple, but personally, I find it such a powerful tool to help support my creativity! I have actually started using this as a daily meditative drawing practice with drawing patterns in different ways. Some days I just spend a handful of minutes on a drawing, some days longer, but I love how it helps me to get into the right headspace, slow down and think more clearly
Exercise 2: Timed Drawing

I find this exercise can really help me to brainstorm ideas at the beginning of a project. Practicing ideas generation, whatever the brief, I think really helps to wake up those bits of my brain which can problem solve and brainstorm, and it's also a lot of fun!
Exercise 3: Associative Drawing







This exercise can be a fun way of getting over the fear of the blank page! It's a great way of warming up, or a fun thing to try out with a friend!
