For this project I have been inspired by one of the most famous dots visible in the sky, the Moon. I wanted to create something simple yet instantly recognizable. Therefore I thought about representing the cycles of the moon and decided not to add any texture on the moon/dot.

I used Adobe Illustrator and played with the mirror tool, gradients and radial blur effect.
