I have been on Etsy for about 2 and a half years. I was selling health products at first but have recently switched over to Bitcoin products. Do you know about bitcoin or crypto in general? Although it has been in existence since 2009, only 2% of the world uses Bitcoin at all. After the pandemic in 2020, more and more people are waking up to the possibility of a world with digital currency as our money. Yet, there is still some kickback and resistance when it comes to people actually learning about the technology and adopting it into their daily lives. This is how I know I/we are still early within the industry, but it does get a little frustrating to see the lack of interest for Bitcoin and really forces me to question if my products are even needed sometimes. After taking your class, I know the #1 thing I can and need to do is be patient. I also learned that this is pretty much a long-term investment; the exact same way I feel about Bitcoin and how long it will take for it to be accepted around the world. I know my store can flourish within the next 5 years; there's also thing being done in the background by governments and institutions alike to create a way to implement Bitcoin as a commodity for all to consider. I will also keep trucking and add more listings to my store. I know if I put more effort into it and have faith, sooner or later the world will come around.
