Disappearing Witness

Disappearing Witness - student project

I’ve been photographing Manhattans financial district for a few months now. It randomly started when I had to travel using the path train one early morning. I almost missed my train because I didn’t want to stop photographing, and ever since then I’ve been hooked to this scene. I’m not sure what will become of it, but like most of my projects, I’ll work on it for a long period of time and then compile the work and look for threads and themes that may occur in the images. In this gallery I’m sharing a wide range of images that have been taken from June to October of 2015. I’m also sharing more than 4 images just to give you an idea of how a body of work can start to form. The order and sequence of these photographs are intentional. Maybe this can be used as more inspiration for your own projects. I’m always open for thoughts, comments, and questions.
